Setup Hardware Components
Within this menu you can define parameters of the dialin and dialout
services. Available options are:
Set MSN of ISDN Adapter
Enter the MSN of your ISDN adapter. This number will be set on outgoing calls, useful for billing purposes. The MSN is one of
your local phone numbers that does not include country and city
codes and cannot start with 0.
Outgoing Phone Number
Enter the phone number for dialing up an Internet Service Provider.
The phone number should include country and city codes if required.
The ISP should accept "xxx" for username and password during login. Example: 0192658 (MSN
Internet-by-Call in Germany)
Dialmode
Choose a dial mode for outgoing internet connections. Available
options are: automatic dialing and manual dialing. In automatic
dialing mode dial-ups of the ISP are made on demand.
Hangup Timeout
Enter the number of seconds after which an inactive internet
connection will be hung up automatically. A value of 0 will
disable this feature, in this case you have to terminate a connection
manually.
Number of Incoming Calls Enter the maximum number of concurrent incoming
calls. You will
need to have at least this number of ISDN B-channels available
in order to reach this limit. 1 to 6 Ports are supported.
Nameserver Address Enter the IP address of the DNS nameserver to be used for
resolving host names into IP addresses.
Example: 194.25.2.129 (T-Online Nameserver)
Save Configuration and Exit Selecting this option will save the current
configuration. Then
the running system will be updated so that all components are
up-to-date.
